Circle Internet Group (NYSE: CRCL) announced that Rajeev Date resigned from its board of directors effective immediately on June 12, 2026, citing personal reasons.

Date served on the board since October 2013 and held the position of Lead Independent Director since November 2024. The company stated his departure represents part of an orderly board refreshment process and was not due to any disagreement with company operations, policies or practices.

Following Date's resignation, the board size decreased from nine to eight directors. Circle thanked Date for his service and contributions to the company during his tenure.
