June 12, 2026 8:00 AM

CEL-SCI Corporation (NYSE American: CVM) will participate in a signing ceremony with Saudi Amarox during the BIO International Convention 2026 in San Diego to formalize their strategic agreement for commercializing Multikine in Saudi Arabia.

The ceremony is scheduled for June 22, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM PST at the Saudi Amarox booth during the convention's opening ceremony. CEL-SCI Chief Executive Officer Geert Kersten and Amarox representatives will attend the event.

Under the previously announced agreement, the companies will share revenue equally from Multikine sales in Saudi Arabia upon receiving Breakthrough Medicine Designation. Amarox will serve as the local regulatory representative and exclusive commercial distributor, handling communications with the Saudi FDA. The agreement includes an option for Amarox to expand distribution to Gulf Cooperation Council countries including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

Amarox has been ranked first for Saudi-FDA applications for critical and unavailable medicine for three consecutive years. The immunotherapy segment in Saudi Arabia's cancer market is projected to reach $2.7 billion by 2033.

Multikine is an investigational cancer immunotherapy administered before surgery for newly diagnosed head and neck cancer patients. In a Phase 3 study, CEL-SCI reported that Multikine increased the five-year survival rate to 73% compared to 45% for patients receiving standard care alone.

The BIO International Convention will take place June 22-25, 2026, with the Saudi Ministry of Health serving as an official sponsor. The event aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 strategy to develop its biotechnology sector.

Head and neck cancer affects approximately 900,000 newly diagnosed patients globally each year and ranks as the sixth most common cancer type.
