Marvell names Dan Durn as CFO effective June 15, 2026
Marvell Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: MRVL) announced Dan Durn will become Chief Financial Officer effective June 15, 2026, succeeding Willem Meintjes who will remain in an advisory capacity through April 2027.
Durn resigned from Marvell's Board of Directors effective June 10, 2026, in connection with his appointment. He joins from Adobe Inc., where he served as CFO and Executive Vice President from October 2021 to June 2026.
The incoming CFO brings more than three decades of financial leadership experience in semiconductor and technology sectors. His previous roles include CFO positions at Applied Materials Inc., NXP Semiconductors N.V., Freescale Semiconductor, and GlobalFoundries Inc. Durn holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy.
Meintjes joined Marvell in 2016 and helped build the company's finance organization during periods of growth and transformation. He cited wanting to spend more time with family as his reason for departing.
"Having served on our board for the past two years, Dan intimately knows Marvell and its long-term growth strategy," said Matt Murphy, Marvell's Chairman and CEO, according to the company's statement.
Marvell also reaffirmed its financial outlook for the second quarter of fiscal 2027, as previously provided on May 27, 2026. The company develops data infrastructure semiconductor solutions and has operated for over 30 years.
