Webull enables AI-powered trading through plain language commands
Webull (NASDAQ: BULL) announced the launch of its Model Context Protocol server, which allows investors to execute trades and manage positions using natural language AI commands without programming knowledge.
The MCP server has been operational since April, enabling clients to interact with Webull's OpenAPI through plain-language instructions. Users can query real-time market data, view account balances and positions, place or modify orders, and access order history through AI commands.
"AI is fundamentally changing how investors can engage with markets, and MCP reflects Webull's commitment to being at the forefront of that change," said Anthony Denier, Group President and U.S. CEO of Webull. "By lowering barriers to advanced trading tools, we are building what we see as a foundational capability for the next generation of self-directed investors."
The protocol extends trading tools previously available only to developers and quantitatively-oriented users to a broader investor base. The service is currently available to all U.S. clients, with plans to expand to additional markets.
Webull operates as a digital investment platform serving more than 27 million registered users globally across 16 markets in North America, Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, and Latin America. The company provides access to trading in securities, options, digital assets, and futures through its platform.
The information is based on a company press release statement.
