JetBlue extends Florida Panthers partnership, adds new fan experience
JetBlue Airways Corp. (NASDAQ: JBLU) announced a multi-year extension of its partnership with the Florida Panthers hockey team, beginning with the 2026-2027 NHL season. The airline will remain the official airline partner and become the presenting partner of the Champions Club at Amerant Bank Arena.
The expanded agreement includes the launch of JetBlue Landing, a new fan destination at the arena that will offer exclusive events and experiences throughout the hockey season. Additional details about the fan experience will be released before the 2026-2027 season begins.
The partnership extension coincides with JetBlue's expansion at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, where the carrier recently added 11 new destinations. Starting July 9, JetBlue will operate nearly 130 daily departures to more than 55 destinations from Fort Lauderdale. The airline expects to offer more than 150 daily flights from the airport by year-end, plus 34 daily departures from West Palm Beach.
"As we continue to expand in Fort Lauderdale and welcome new customers across the region, growing our partnership with the Florida Panthers just feels right," said Stephanie Evans Greene, JetBlue's senior vice president of marketing and brand.
Both organizations will continue community initiatives including the Reading Challenge program for Broward County Public School students. The program's inaugural year saw more than 2,600 students participate, logging over 675,000 reading minutes across 116 classrooms.
The Florida Panthers won Stanley Cup championships in consecutive seasons during 2023-24 and 2024-25. The team operates four facilities in Broward County and will enter its 33rd season in 2026-27.
