PTC introduces AI platform and product updates at Chicago event

PTC (NASDAQ: PTC) announced product innovations at its PTC NEXT Chicago event on June 9-10, introducing new AI capabilities and software updates across its manufacturing technology portfolio.

The company unveiled two new products: PTC Orbit, which connects data from PLM, ERP, CRM, IoT, EAM, and FSM systems into a unified asset record, and PTC Jetstream, a cloud-native solution for collaboration across product data. Both products incorporate AI functionality.

PTC also previewed a new AI platform featuring 12 AI agents designed to extend product data value across enterprises. The platform establishes what the company calls an Intelligence Layer across its software portfolio.

Updates were announced for existing products including Creo computer-aided design software, Onshape CAD and product data management platform, Windchill product lifecycle management solution, Arena PLM and quality management system, Codebeamer application lifecycle management solution, ServiceMax field service management software, and Servigistics service supply chain optimization solution.

The company introduced 10 new integrations, including Windchill connectors to Onshape, ServiceMax, and ERP systems, as well as connections to NVIDIA Omniverse and Altium 365.

"Every innovation we launch at PTC NEXT is designed to help our customers move faster, improve access to product data, and accelerate their transformations with the Intelligent Product Lifecycle," said Neil Barua, CEO of PTC.

PTC NEXT operates on a twice-yearly schedule with spring and fall seasons for product releases. The company employs over 7,000 people and serves more than 30,000 customers globally, according to the press release.
