Vivos partners with Florida cardiology group for sleep disorder treatment
Vivos Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: VVOS) entered into a collaboration agreement with South Palm Cardiovascular Associates LLC to form AIM Florida LLC, a management services organization focused on treating sleep disorders in cardiovascular patients.
The partnership will address obstructive sleep apnea and insomnia diagnosis and treatment for approximately 30,000 patients of record at the Florida-based cardiology practice. Vivos expects to hold at least 80% of the membership interests in AIM Florida, with South Palm Cardiovascular Associates holding up to 20%.
The collaboration will initially focus on patients in Palm Beach County, Florida. The operating plan calls for establishing one Sleep Optimization Team capable of serving approximately 250 patients per month and generating over $6 million annually with contribution margins approaching 50% once fully deployed.
"We believe this key collaboration agreement with SPCVA represents a unique and highly profitable model for creating additional such relationships across multiple medical specialties throughout the country," said R. Kirk Huntsman, chairman and chief executive officer of Vivos.
The arrangement is based on Vivos' model established through its 2025 acquisition of Sleep Centers of Nevada. The company stated this partnership allows direct collaboration with the medical community without significant capital outlays required for acquisitions.
Under the agreement, all clinical decisions, patient care protocols and referral decisions will remain within the authority of licensed healthcare professionals and will not be directed by Vivos, AIM Florida or other non-clinical parties.
The parties anticipate negotiating definitive agreements and related documents. The company noted there is no assurance the contemplated agreements will be completed on the expected timeline or generate particular revenue or operating results.
