01 Quantum partners with IT firm for post-quantum cybersecurity solutions
01 Quantum Inc. (TSXV: ONE) (OTCQB: OONEF) announced a Post-Quantum Cryptography Engineering Partnership Agreement with a Canadian IT and business consulting services company and a global systems integrator. The partnership designates 01 Quantum as a subject matter expert to support quantum-safe architecture delivery for enterprise and government customers.
The agreement establishes a framework for collaboration through multiple Statements of Work across public and private sector projects in Canada. The partner is authorized to resell, sublicense, and distribute 01 Quantum's post-quantum cryptography products and services as standalone offerings or integrated components of broader digital transformation services.
"Cryptographic migration is an intricate, multi-year endeavor that cannot be treated as a last-minute software patch," said Andrew Cheung, CEO of 01 Quantum. The company will provide product maintenance, technical support, and subject matter expertise, while the partner leads customer engagements and systems integration.
The partnership addresses concerns about "Q-Date," when quantum computers may break current encryption methods like RSA and ECC. Security experts warn of "Harvest Now, Decrypt Later" threats, where attackers collect encrypted data today to decrypt once quantum technology advances.
01 Quantum, formerly 01 Communique Laboratory Inc., develops post-quantum cryptography technologies including IronCAP, which is protected by U.S. patents #11,271,715 and #11,669,833. The company's solutions target security-sensitive environments including digital assets, AI systems, email security, and enterprise infrastructure.
