GXO signs multi-year logistics deal with L'Oréal in central Europe
GXO Logistics Inc. (NYSE: GXO) announced it has signed a multi-year agreement with L'Oréal to manage logistics operations across Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary, according to a company press release.
The partnership extends a relationship between the companies that spans more than 15 years in the United States and Mexico. GXO will develop and operate a new 20,000 square meter logistics facility in Lavičky near Brno, employing approximately 80 people and serving nine countries in the region.
The facility is expected to begin operations in mid-2027 and will be built to BREEAM Excellent sustainability standards. The operation will handle L'Oréal's luxury, dermo-cosmetic, professional and consumer products, providing omnichannel distribution for retail operations and e-commerce channels.

Miroslav Macíček, Operations Director for L'Oréal CZ/HU/SK, said the company selected GXO for its expertise and understanding of the beauty sector. "With our growth strategy, we need the scale, capacity and technology of a modern logistics hub that will enable us to move to the next level of customer experience," Macíček stated.
GXO operates more than 50 beauty logistics sites across 10 countries and handles more than half a billion beauty products annually for over 90 brands globally, according to the press release.
