Lazard reports May assets under management at $284.8 billion
Lazard Inc. (NYSE: LAZ) reported preliminary assets under management of $284.8 billion as of May 31, 2026, according to a company statement.
The investment firm's monthly AUM included market appreciation of $11.6 billion, net outflows of $1.4 billion and foreign exchange depreciation of $0.7 billion during May.
By asset class, equity investments totaled $214.9 billion, representing the largest portion of AUM, compared to $206.2 billion in April. Fixed income assets reached $35.8 billion, up from $35.6 billion the previous month. Multi-asset holdings increased to $24.7 billion from $24.2 billion, while alternatives grew to $9.5 billion from $9.3 billion.
Total AUM increased from $275.4 billion at the end of April 2026. The May figures are preliminary and subject to adjustment, the company noted.
Lazard operates as a financial advisory and asset management firm with offices in North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. The company provides merger and acquisition advice, capital markets services, restructuring guidance, and investment solutions to institutions, corporations, governments, and high-net-worth individuals.
