YY Group deploys humanoid robots for facility management operations

June 9, 2026 4:10 PM

YY Group Holding Limited (NASDAQ: YYGH) announced the deployment of Unitree G1 Edu Ultimate B-U4 humanoid robots for its facility management operations. The Singapore-based company said it will use the robots to collect operational data and develop automation capabilities for commercial cleaning and maintenance tasks.

The initiative targets facility management services in shopping malls, hotels, and commercial real estate properties across Asia. YY Group plans to equip its cleaning personnel with data-collection equipment during work shifts to capture workflow information, which will be used to train the humanoid robots for future autonomous operations.

The Unitree G1 robots feature mobility capabilities, touch-sensitive hands, and NVIDIA Jetson Orin computing platforms. YY Group intends to integrate the robotic systems with its existing workforce management platform YY Circle and facility management software 24IFM.

"This initiative bridges the gap between physical labor workflows and scalable AI data infrastructure," said Mike Fu, Chief Executive Officer of YY Group. "We are aggressively transforming operational know-how into a proprietary, high-margin data asset."

The company operates workforce management and integrated facility management services across hospitality, retail, transportation, and banking sectors. YY Group's facility management subsidiary provides services to mixed-use facilities and other commercial properties.

YY Group is listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market and is headquartered in Singapore with operations across Asia.
