NIQ launches six AI-powered capabilities at C360 event
NielsenIQ (NYSE: NIQ) announced six new artificial intelligence capabilities at its C360 client event, according to a company press release. The capabilities are designed to integrate market intelligence into enterprise workflows and AI environments.
The new offerings include NIQ Connected Content for managing product and preference intelligence, NIQ Optiq as an insights assistant, NIQ Optiq Mobile for mobile access, NIQ Optiq Bridge for enterprise integration, NIQ Cadence for marketing effectiveness, and ConnectAI Suite for data integration services.
"Clients are looking for access to trusted, granular intelligence in whatever way works best for them," said Troy Treangen, Chief Product Officer at NIQ. The capabilities support integrations with AI technologies including ChatGPT and Claude.
NIQ's AI strategy focuses on combining datasets with AI models and embedding intelligence into client workflows and enterprise environments. The company operates an AI Commerce Lab developing capabilities for what it terms "agentic commerce," where AI influences product discovery and purchasing decisions.
The company's data infrastructure includes relationships with more than 8,900 retailers globally, coverage of approximately $7.4 trillion in consumer spending, more than 253 million product items, and 28,000 AI models running daily, according to the press release.
"Organizations are investing heavily in AI but often struggle to operationalize it at scale," said Liz Buchanan, President of North America at NIQ. The new capabilities aim to help organizations implement AI solutions within existing business processes.
NIQ operates in more than 90 countries and covers approximately 82% of the world's population. The company provides consumer intelligence and retail measurement services to brands and retailers.
