Zscaler expands AI security project with tech alliance partners

June 9, 2026 11:05 AM

Zscaler Inc. (NASDAQ: ZS) announced the expansion of its Project AI-Guardian initiative to include technology alliance partners, broadening its collaboration beyond the initial group of global system integrators. The cybersecurity company made the announcement at its Zenith Live 2026 conference in Las Vegas.

The expanded initiative includes technology partners AWS, CoreWeave, Databricks, Deep Cogito, Equinix, Glean, Google Cloud, OpenAI, and Saviynt, along with additional system integrator partners Coforge and NTT DATA. These partners join the founding system integrator partners Cognizant, EY, HCLTech, Infosys, TCS, and Wipro.

The Project AI-Guardian expansion integrates core Zscaler AI services through the company's Zero Trust Exchange platform with partner technologies. The integration includes the AI Access Graph, which maps connections between identities, applications, agents, and data to AI services, and AI attack surface and risk modeling capabilities.

"AI is creating enormous opportunities for organizations, but it is also reshaping the threat across the security and governance landscape," said Dhawal Sharma, EVP of AI Security and Strategic Initiatives at Zscaler. "Securing AI is an ecosystem effort."

The initiative aims to address security needs across AI workflows including zero trust controls for AI applications, data protection measures, continuous visibility and governance of AI footprints, and streamlined deployment processes. The platform enables real-time enforcement of access verification and data inspection through the Zero Trust Exchange.

According to the company, the expansion addresses the challenge enterprises face when adopting generative AI and AI-enabled software, where security teams often use multiple point products that lack shared context, potentially creating security blind spots across AI attack surfaces.
