Ship traffic through Strait of Hormuz is rising, Wright says
Investing.com -- Ship traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is increasing substantially as the conflict with Iran continues, U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright said Tuesday.
Wright made the statement during an Atlantic Council conference. He added that restoring normal energy flows would require many months after the war ends.
The Strait of Hormuz serves as a critical waterway for global energy transportation and has been effectively closed since the onset of the U.S.-Israel war against Iran.
