Rubrik launches agent security cloud for Anthropic's Claude code
Rubrik (NYSE: RBRK) announced the launch of Rubrik Agent Cloud for Anthropic's Claude Code and Claude Cowork, a security platform designed to provide oversight and control for AI agents that autonomously write and deploy code.
The platform includes what Rubrik calls "agent rewind" functionality, which allows organizations to reverse unintended actions taken by AI agents. The system also provides backup and recovery capabilities for code repositories and agent configurations.
According to the company, the solution addresses security concerns that arise when AI agents operate without human oversight in enterprise environments. The platform monitors agent activities, maintains snapshots of code repositories, and can restore previous states when needed.
Key features include a governance engine for real-time agent control, inventory tracking of deployed agents, and backup systems for GitHub and Azure DevOps repositories. The system also monitors configuration changes for Claude agents, including system prompts and tool permissions.
"Organizations are adopting Claude faster than any agentic technology we have seen, and every security leader asks the same question: how do we stay in control when an agent can act?" said Anneka Gupta, Chief Product Officer at Rubrik.
The announcement was made at Rubrik's FORWARD conference in Las Vegas. The company describes itself as operating at the intersection of data protection, cyber resilience, and enterprise AI acceleration.
Anthropic develops the Claude family of AI models, which are used for various applications including code understanding and security analysis.
