Rubrik Inc. (NYSE: RBRK) announced the launch of Rubrik AI, an artificial intelligence agent platform designed to provide automated cybersecurity responses across its product portfolio. The announcement was made at the company's FORWARD conference in Las Vegas.

The new platform operates through what the company describes as an "agentic-first experience," where customers define business outcomes and Rubrik AI autonomously executes actions to achieve those results. The system is designed to function across Rubrik Security Cloud and Rubrik Agent Cloud platforms.

"Today, Rubrik becomes an agent. Our Agentic Cyber Resilience is designed to mitigate risks from both external AI attacks and internal agent deployments," said Bipul Sinha, CEO, Chairman and Co-Founder of Rubrik.

Rubrik AI includes three main components: Agentic Mode, which operates as a single agent across both platforms while analyzing data, identity, and customer-deployed agents; Agentic Guardrails, which provide controls to ensure autonomous actions remain auditable and reversible; and Orchestrated Workflows, which automate multi-step recovery processes.

The company states that recovery sequences that previously required weeks of human intervention can now be completed in minutes through the automated system. Rubrik AI features what the company describes as a patent-pending design that can reason, act, and recover at machine speed.

The platform aims to address cybersecurity challenges related to AI-powered attacks and compromised AI agents by providing automated responses and recovery capabilities. The system is built on Rubrik's existing API-first platform architecture.
