Vertical Data partners with Ascenty for AI infrastructure in Latin America

June 9, 2026 9:00 AM

Vertical Data Inc. (OTCQB: VDTA) announced a partnership with Ascenty to deploy artificial intelligence infrastructure across Latin America. The collaboration combines Vertical Data's hardware procurement, financing and managed services with Ascenty's data center operations across 40 facilities in Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Colombia.

Under the reseller and referral agreement, Vertical Data will handle hardware procurement, financing and operating models while Ascenty provides infrastructure and data center operations. The partnership aims to give enterprises access to AI compute environments that meet technical and governance standards used in North America and Europe.

"Latin America has the data center capacity and connectivity foundation needed to host AI workloads at scale," said Deven Soni, Chief Executive Officer at Vertical Data. "What enterprises in the region have been missing is consistent access to the hardware, financing and operating layer that converts that capacity into deployed compute."

Ascenty operates 27 data centers currently with 13 under development. The company has used 100% renewable electricity certified by IRECs since 2020 and neutralized all Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions in 2025. Its operations hold ISO 14001, 50001, 45001 and 37001 certifications.

The partnership allows both companies to introduce opportunities involving GPU infrastructure, GPU financing and AI workloads through joint go-to-market models, referral partnerships or reseller arrangements. Ascenty is a joint venture between Digital Realty and Brookfield Infrastructure.

The agreement extends Vertical Data's international presence, adding to recently established subsidiaries in Sweden and Canada. The company focuses on capital-efficient AI infrastructure deployment through partnerships with regional operators.
