Aclarion partners with PRIA Healthcare for Nociscan reimbursement strategy

June 9, 2026 7:01 AM

Aclarion Inc. (NASDAQ: ACON, ACONW) announced a partnership with PRIA Healthcare to establish a Market Access Program for its Nociscan platform, an AI-driven tool for chronic low back pain diagnosis.

The program aims to advance Nociscan through the reimbursement process to expand patient access and support commercial adoption. PRIA Healthcare will provide expertise in payer engagement, prior authorization support, and appeals management.

"Partnering with PRIA to establish this Market Access Program is a critical milestone as we execute our strategy to achieve payer coverage and expand market access for Nociscan," said Brent Ness, Chief Executive Officer of Aclarion.

Nociscan has received payer approval from three of the top four private insurance companies in the United Kingdom. The platform uses magnetic resonance spectroscopy data from MRI machines to help physicians identify painful discs in the lumbar spine through cloud-based analysis of chemical biomarkers.

The collaboration is designed to streamline the reimbursement process for physicians and health systems, remove access barriers, and generate insights into payer dynamics and utilization trends. The partnership supports Aclarion's strategy to engage with U.S. payers for coverage decisions.

"Nociscan represents a major advancement in the understanding and management of chronic low back pain," said Tonya Dowd, Executive Vice President, Reimbursement, HEMA, and Corporate Development, at PRIA Healthcare.

PRIA Healthcare has operated for more than 14 years, initially focusing on prior authorization and appeals management for medical technologies, and has enabled access for more than 40,000 patients. The company now provides reimbursement, market access, and regulatory strategy services.

The information is based on a press release statement from Aclarion.
