Rackspace Technology opens regional headquarters in Riyadh
Rackspace Technology (NASDAQ: RXT) announced the establishment of its regional headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, according to a company statement. The facility will serve as a strategic hub for the company's operations and customer engagement efforts across the Middle East region.
The Riyadh office will be led by Shakeel Mohammed, Vice President for the Middle East at Rackspace Technology. The headquarters will focus on accelerating enterprise cloud adoption across the Gulf Cooperation Council, expanding sovereign and regulated cloud capabilities, and supporting AI-driven transformation initiatives.
"Saudi Arabia has always been at the heart of our regional strategy, and establishing our headquarters here is a natural and proud milestone, one that deepens our commitment to the Kingdom's digital future and the bold ambitions of Vision 2030," said Mohammed.
Marco Tesini, Senior Vice President International at Rackspace Technology, stated that the establishment reflects the company's commitment to helping customers modernize securely and at scale. The expanded presence aims to enable more localized delivery and enhanced responsiveness across the region.
The regional headquarters will support organizations across enterprise, government, and regulated industries as they implement digital transformation initiatives aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 agenda. The company positions the move as strengthening its local presence to deliver cloud, AI, and data solutions in the region.
