LivaNova names Anne Liddy as chief legal officer
LivaNova PLC (NASDAQ: LIVN) appointed Anne Liddy as Chief Legal Officer, effective August 31, according to a company statement. Liddy will oversee the medical technology company's global legal and compliance functions and join the Executive Leadership Team.
Liddy brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and life sciences legal matters. She joins LivaNova from Hologic, Inc., where she served as General Counsel, leading the global legal organization and advising senior leadership on business and compliance initiatives.
"Anne is a highly accomplished executive with an established record of achievement, guiding organizations through complex regulatory and business environments," said Vladimir Makatsaria, Chief Executive Officer of LivaNova.
Before becoming General Counsel at Hologic, Liddy held various leadership positions within the company's legal organization, overseeing commercial, intellectual property, employment, compliance, and litigation matters. Earlier in her career, she worked as Corporate Counsel at Pfizer, Inc., supporting the consumer healthcare business, and began her legal career at Ropes & Gray LLP in Boston.
Liddy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross and a Juris Doctor from Cornell University Law School.
LivaNova is headquartered in London and employs approximately 3,300 people with operations in more than 100 countries. The company develops medical solutions for neurological and cardiac conditions.
