Investing.com -- The Trump administration is conducting a coordinated campaign of censorship against Disney and its ABC network through regulatory actions, according to FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez.

In a letter sent Monday to Disney CEO Josh D'Amaro, Gomez, the sole Democrat on the Federal Communications Commission, described the situation as more than coincidental regulatory oversight.

Gomez stated that Disney and ABC are experiencing a sustained campaign of censorship and control executed through the weaponization of the FCC's regulatory authority. The commissioner said the effort aims to pressure a free and independent press and all media into submission.
