Corteva adds two directors as part of board transition

April 30, 2026 8:01 AM

Corteva Inc. (NYSE: CTVA) announced that shareholders approved the appointment of Christopher Policinski and Jean-Marc Gilson to its board of directors. The additions replace retiring directors Lamberto Andreotti and Michael Johanns, who stepped down at the company's annual meeting of shareholders.

Policinski served as president and chief executive officer of Land O'Lakes Inc., an agricultural cooperative, from 2005 to 2018. He currently serves on the board of Hormel Foods Corp. and previously held board positions at Xcel Energy Inc.

Gilson is president and chief executive officer of Westlake Corporation, a global manufacturer of vinyl, polymers and building products, since July 2024. He previously led Mitsubishi Chemical Group Corporation from April 2021 to June 2024 and held executive positions at Roquette Frères and other chemical companies.

"Their expertise in the agriculture and chemicals sectors, respectively, will both strengthen the Board and serve Corteva well, particularly as the company moves forward with its plans to separate into two industry-leading companies," said Board Chair Gregory Page.

The company stated that board appointments for "SpinCo" and "New Corteva" will be made in the second half of 2026 as part of the planned separation.

Corteva is an agriculture company that provides seeds, crop protection products and digital services to farmers globally. The information comes from a company press release statement.
