StubHub integrates with Anthropic's Claude AI assistant
StubHub (NYSE: STUB) announced an integration with Anthropic's Claude AI assistant that allows users to discover and browse live events within the conversational interface. The integration connects Claude users to StubHub's catalog of events with current pricing and seat availability.
The launch follows StubHub's ChatGPT integration and positions the company as the only major ticketing platform accessible across multiple AI assistants. Users can access the integration through Claude's connectors by mentioning StubHub in conversations.
The system allows conversational ticket searches, such as asking Claude to find concerts in a specific city on a particular day. Follow-up questions can refine results by genre, price range, or date without restarting the search. When users find suitable tickets, Claude directs them to StubHub to complete purchases.
"Consumer behavior is driving a new era in ticket discovery, with fans increasingly turning to conversation, not just menus and filters, to find live events," said Nayaab Islam, President and Chief Product Officer at StubHub.
The integration provides access to live marketplace data including seat maps, pricing trends, and section recommendations. All purchases remain covered by StubHub's FanProtect Guarantee.
StubHub operates as a global ticketing marketplace serving customers in over 200 countries and territories, supporting over 30 languages and accepting payments in over 45 currencies. The company provides ticketing services for various live events including sports, music, comedy, dance, festivals, and theater.
