Sunoco raises quarterly distribution by 6.25% to $0.99 per unit
Sunoco LP (NYSE: SUN) and SunocoCorp LLC (NYSE: SUNC) announced a quarterly distribution of $0.9899 per common unit for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. The distribution represents a 6.25% increase, or $0.0582 per common unit, compared to the previous quarter.
The increase includes a one-time step-up of 5% and a quarterly increase of 1.25%. On an annualized basis, the distribution equals $3.9596 per unit.
The first quarter 2026 annualized distribution marks approximately a 10% increase over the first quarter 2025 annualized distribution. This follows previous distribution increases of 2% in 2023, 4% in 2024, and 5% in 2025.
The announcement represents the sixth consecutive quarterly increase in the partnership's distribution. The company stated the increases align with its capital allocation strategy, which targets a multi-year distribution growth rate of at least 5%.
Both SUN and SUNC distributions will be paid on May 20, 2026 to holders of record on May 8, 2026.
Sunoco LP operates energy infrastructure and fuel distribution across 32 countries and territories in North America, the Greater Caribbean, and Europe. The partnership maintains approximately 14,000 miles of pipeline and over 160 terminals, distributing over 15 billion gallons annually to approximately 11,000 retail locations.
SunocoCorp LLC is a publicly traded limited liability company that owns a direct limited partner interest in Sunoco LP. Energy Transfer LP (NYSE: ET) owns SUN's general partner.
