Korean Air to buy 103 Boeing planes for $36.2 billion by 2039
Investing.com -- South Korean flag carrier Korean Air announced Thursday it plans to purchase 103 Boeing aircraft between 2026 and 2039.
The order includes 20 B777-9s, 25 B787-10s, 50 B737-10s, and eight B777-8Fs, the airline said in a regulatory filing.
The purchases are valued at $36.2 billion based on 2025 list prices, Korean Air said.
Korean Air also plans to invest $728 million in engine purchases and will buy 21 engines from GE and CFM, the company said.
