Boeing (BA) Posts Q4 Core EPS of $2.31; Guides FY15 EPS Below Expectations

Boeing (NYSE: BA) reported Q4 core EPS of $2.31, versus the analyst estimate of $2.10. Revenue for the quarter came in at $24.47 billion versus the consensus estimate of $23.78 billion.

Total company backlog at quarter-end was a record $502 billion, up from $490 billion at the beginning of the quarter, and included net orders for the quarter of $37 billion. Backlog is up $61 billion from prior year-end, reflecting $152 billion of net orders in 2014.

Sees FY15 revs of $94.5 - $96.5 billion, GAAP EPS of $8.10 - $8.30, and core EPS of $8.20 - $8.40. The Street is looking for FY15 revs of $93.25 billion and EPS of $8.64.
