On CNBC, Jim Cramer said the amount of stock supply coming to the market via IPOs, new issuance, SPACs, and secondary offerings reminds him of 1999. Cramer said supply could start to outstrip demand. He suggested that company CEOs could be frantically calling their bankers to issue stock amid the current environment.
Despite the supply worries, Cramer said the quality of the companies coming to the market, such as Snowflake (NYSE: SNOW), is still very different than 1999.
