S&P SmallCap 600 constituent Extra Space Storage Inc. (NYSE: EXR) will replace Ralcorp Holdings Inc. (NYSE: RAH) in the S&P MidCap 400, and Dorman Products Inc. (NASDAQ: DORM) will replace Extra Space Storage in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on Tuesday, January 29. S&P 500 constituent ConAgra Foods Inc. (NYSE: CAG) is acquiring Ralcorp in a deal expected to be completed on or around that date, pending final approvals.
Era Group Inc. (NYSE: ERAwi) (NYSE: ERA) will replace Neutral Tandem Inc. (NYSE: IQNT) in the S&P SmallCap 600 after the close of trading on Thursday, January 31. S&P SmallCap 600 constituent SEACOR Holdings Inc. (NYSE: CKH) is spinning off Era Group to shareholders in a transaction expected to be completed on or about that date. Neutral Tandem has a market capitalization below $100 million and is no longer representative of the small cap market space.
