Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) continues to move higher and has just jumped to $7 per share, up 11% on the day.
Today a number of bulls came out to defend the stock after the recent drubbing on fears the bank could have to raise billions in capital due to its mortgage exposure.
Bulls from Dick Bove at Rochdale and Anthony Polini at Raymond James don't believe the company has a need to raise money. Also noted financial bear Meridith Whitney doesn't see an immediate capital raise.
