Empery Digital repurchases 17.6 million shares under $200 million program
Empery Digital Inc. (NASDAQ: EMPD) announced it has repurchased 17,594,406 shares of its common stock under its $200 million share repurchase program as of February 20, 2026.
The company purchased the shares at an average price of $6.35 per share, including fees and commissions. Following these repurchases, Empery Digital has 33,825,829 shares outstanding, accounting for the potential exercise of 870,240 pre-funded warrants.
The Austin, Texas-based company stated it plans to continue share repurchases at prices below net asset value to maximize per-share value. Management indicated it will use existing cash balances and may reduce bitcoin holdings to fund future repurchases and potentially repay outstanding debt.
Empery Digital focuses on digital asset management and employs a bitcoin treasury strategy. The company said it maintains adequate cash to execute share repurchases while maintaining appropriate leverage ratios.
