After-Hours Stock Movers:
Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO) rose 5.6% after reporting solid second quarter results and updating guidance. It also announced plans to cut 7% of its workforce.
Nike (NYSE: NKE) rose 4.9% after activist investor Bill Ackman's Pershing Square disclosed a $229 million stake.
Lumentum Holdings (NASDAQ: LITE) rose 13% after it beat EPS and guidance estimates for the second quarter. Management said it booked record orders for datacom chips used in data center applications.
AST SpaceMobile (NASDAQ: ASTS) fell 3% after it reported larger loss per share than expected in the second quarter.
Ulta Beauty (NASDAQ: ULTA) rose 12% after Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway disclosed a $266 million stake.
