Item 8.01         Other Events

 

On June 16, 2026, CervoMed Inc. (the “Company”) received a notice of allowance from the United States Patent and Trademark Office related to a new patent protecting the Company’s use of its drug candidate, neflamapimod, for the treatment of dementia with Lewy bodies in patients with no substantial Alzheimer’s disease-like tau pathology, which is expected to provide intellectual property protection into 2042 (without giving effect to any potential patent term extension).
