German industrial output falls unexpectedly in January

March ‌9 (Reuters) - ​German ​industrial production ‌fell unexpectedly in ⁠January ‌by 0.5% compared ‌to the previous month, ​the federal ⁠statistics office said ​on Monday.

Analysts polled by Reuters ​had ‌predicted a 1.0% ⁠rise.
