Vuzix Ships Customized Waveguides to a Major US-based Defense Customer

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Feb. 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Vuzix® Corporation (NASDAQ: VUZI), ("Vuzix" or, the "Company"), a leading supplier of smart glasses, waveguides and augmented reality (AR) technology, announced today that it has fulfilled a six-figure follow-on production order for customized waveguides. These waveguides will be used to enable a lightweight heads-up display (HUD) for a key defense program.

The order was placed by a major U.S.-based defense contractor known for its advanced aerospace and defense solutions. As the incumbent supplier for several existing military programs, this customer has selected Vuzix as a trusted U.S.-based manufacturer of waveguide and display technologies.
