UnitedHealth Group Board Increases Shareholder Dividend 25%

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) announced today that its Board of Directors authorized payment of a cash dividend of $0.625 per share, to be paid on June 28, 2016, to all shareholders of record of UnitedHealth Group common stock as of the close of business on June 17, 2016. This dividend represents a 25% increase over the quarterly dividend of $0.50 per share the Company paid in the second quarter of 2015. Future dividend payments are subject to Board approval and may be adjusted as business needs or market conditions change.
