TrustRadius Drives Growth in Customer Voice, Expands Executive Team
AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- TrustRadius, the most-trusted customer voice and insights platform for B2B technology, announced the hire of software veterans Scott Brittain, Andrew Lamb, Tom Sloss, and Russ Somers. The new hires will support the company’s rapid growth. TrustRadius continues to add marquee customers such as Tableau, Conductor, Solarwinds, and Kronos who recognize that it is imperative for enterprises to embrace the authentic voice of their customers.
“Similar to current client references, reviews are a must have in my buying process. References and reviews are both required sections of my RFP roadmap,” Chris Salles, Director of Learning for Audible, wrote in a recent review. “TrustRadius is the leader in tech solution review sites. It has the most unbiased, candid reviews I can find. Their promise and commitment to buyers is real. They vet every review. They can be trusted. This is important when prospective buyers are making multi-million dollar decisions and when they're making $500 ones too.”
Because of the market’s desire for trusted customer insights, TrustRadius has been growing rapidly. Over the past year traffic to TrustRadius.com has doubled while the company has experienced material growth and >100% net retention with its subscription offerings for vendors.
The expanded executive team brings the expertise needed to support the engineering, sales, finance, and marketing efforts needed to transform the B2B technology market by delivering the transparency and trust enterprise buyers expect in making decisions. Recent TrustRadius research shows that peer reviews are the #2 source of information buyers of enterprise technology rely on, second only to first-hand demonstrations.
Brittain, a veteran of Snap Kitchen, Solarwinds, Kalivo, and iMark, will lead Engineering. Lamb brings sales leadership expertise from OutboundEngine and ObjectRocket (a Rackspace Company), Spiceworks, and HotJobs. Sloss is an OutboundEngine alumnus as well, but also led finance functions for Cesura, Allen Technologies, and Surgient. Somers, who was an early customer of TrustRadius, brings experience from high-growth startups including TrendKite, Invodo, and sonarDesign, in addition to roles at Fortune 500 companies like Dell and Sabre Holdings.
“I’m excited to on board experienced executives to help TrustRadius realize its full potential,” said TrustRadius Founder and CEO Vinay Bhagat. “The buyer’s journey has profoundly changed. Buyers are seeking authentic and in-depth insights from their peers, rather than settling for sales and marketing speak or the recommendation of an analyst who probably doesn’t even use the technology. We’re committed to being the most useful and trusted customer voice and insights platform for both technology buyers and vendors.”
