The SYMPHONIA | Boca Raton’s Signature Fundraising Event, ¡Tango SYMPHONIA!

Exotic evening of dance and music will be Saturday, November 12 at Boca West Country Club

BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The SYMPHONIA | Boca Raton (thesymphonia.org), South Florida’s world class chamber orchestra, will host ¡Tango SYMPHONIA!, an exotic evening of sultry sounds by the Latin Grammy-nominated Colombian Tango Ensemble, Quinteto Leopoldo Federico, along with a dramatic dance performance, on Saturday, November 12, 2016, 6-10 pm, at Boca West Country Club.

The glamorous evening’s chair is Carole Boucard and the Honorary Chairs are Edith and Martin Stein. ¡Tango SYMPHONIA! will include beverages, appetizers, and dinner with a dish or two with a Latin flair. Guests will also have the opportunity to hone their Tango skills -- if they dare!

Quinteto Leopoldo Federico recorded their first album at FAU in 2015. The album was nominated for a Latin Grammy at the 16th Annual Latin Grammy Awards in the Best Tango Album category. The album, Bogota - Buenos Aires, was produced at FAU's Hoot/Wisdom Recording Studio and released through Hoot/Wisdom Recordings. The group is returning to Boca Raton in November to record their second album at FAU.
