FRANKFORT, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Kentucky Board of Optometric Examiners 2017 license renewal is now open. Licensed optometric examiners can renew their license online now until March 1, 2017, without a late fee being assessed. The online renewal system will close April 30, 2017.
“We are pleased to partner with Kentucky Interactive and provide our licensees a smooth, online renewal process,” stated Connie F. Calvert, the Executive Director of the Kentucky Board of Optometric Examiners.
In addition to providing information for optometrists, the Kentucky Board of Optometric Examiners website also offers a license lookup for finding an optometrist in your area or viewing an optometrist’s license status.
The Kentucky Board of Optometric Examiners’ site was built through a public-private partnership with Frankfort-based Kentucky Interactive, LLC.

The Kentucky Board of Optometric Examiners consists of five (5) members appointed by the Governor. Four (4) members are practicing optometrists well grounded in the practice of optometry and one (1) citizen at large who is not associated with the practice of optometry.
