MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Terminix, a leading provider of termite and pest control services and a ServiceMaster (NYSE: SERV) company, today announced its newest offering, Quick GuardTM Mosquito Service, will play a critical role in keeping the TPC Southwind golf course free of mosquitoes during this week’s FedEx St. Jude Classic tournament.

Mosquito control plans for the event have included an integrated approach to ensure the most effective results possible. Weeks in advance of the tournament, Terminix managers visited the course to inspect and identify high-traffic areas and potential mosquito breeding sites. The Quick Guard service was also initiated at that time to immediately reduce mosquito populations.

During the event, additional localized area mosquito services will be provided at the start of each day. The combination of Quick Guard along with other preventative service offerings will play a key role in keeping the course free of mosquitoes.
