Summit Insights Group joins R/A Research Alliance

Summit Insights Group, a leading TMT independent research boutique, is the latest IRP to join the recently founded Research Alliance (http://www.theresearchalliance.com). For over 6 years, Summit has been providing buy-side institutions with coverage on the Enterprise and application software, Internet, IT hardware, semiconductor capital equipment and semiconductor segments. Their reputation as a 'go to' source for TMT reports is founded in their rigorous analysis of emerging technologies, their comprehensive industry network, and their overseas channel and inventory checking capabilities.

Selling independent research is never an easy proposition, and having an established organization promoting the benefits of IRPs to the buy-side can only be beneficial to all research boutiques, whether they have membership in the Alliance or not. That the Alliance has been able to attract another solid IRP to their fold so shortly after its inception is a positive sign for the health of this organization.
