SPOKANE, WA, April 11, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Red Lion Hotels Corporation (NYSE: RLH) today announced the company has sold the Red Lion Hotel Yakima in Washington. At closing, the company entered into an agreement with the new owner to retain the hotel as a franchise. The new owner will invest significantly in the rooms and the exterior of the hotel and will continue to operate it as the Red Lion Hotel Yakima. With 156 guest rooms, the hotel is adjacent to the Yakima Convention Center and just a few minutes from the Yakima SunDome with easy access to 1-82 and the award-winning wineries in Yakima Valley.
