It is natural for people to worry about their future and ability to pay off debt if they have big financial obligations. There are people who will be concerned because they are thinking about the debt payments they have to make. It seems they have more reasons to worry about their finances compared to other people because of the extra payments they have to make on top of their regular household budget priorities.
But one insight the article points out is that consumers worry about basic necessities regardless of their debt situation. The anxiety level is more or less the same for those in debt and those who are not because at the end of the day, they really have to attend to these needs like rent, food and other utilities.
The article shares that debt brings a lot of consequences but it does not influence on a large scale the financial worries that the average person goes through when the basic necessities are concerned. This is because everyone thinks about providing for the family and putting food on the table regardless if they have debts or not,
