Johnson Controls appoints Nancy Berce as chief information officer

CORK, Ireland, April 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI) today announced Nancy Berce has joined the company as its chief information officer (CIO) succeeding John Repko who is leaving the company to pursue other East Coast opportunities after completing a two-year commitment to lead the Company's IT function.

Berce most recently served as vice president of Business and Technology Services for Abbott Laboratories. She joined Abbott in 1996 and has held a number of leadership positions including serving as the company's chief information officer where she was responsible for the IT, cybersecurity, digital and analytic services organizations.

Berce earned bachelor's degrees in both Mathematics and Computer Information Systems from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. She earned her master's degree in Mathematics from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado.
