Slated to open in fall 2016, the Baptist Orthopedic Hospital will set the standard for orthopedic innovation in South Texas, serving as the destination for patient-centered orthopedic care.

Uniquely housed within North Central Baptist Hospital, the $50 million, 76,800-square-foot Baptist Orthopedic Hospital will deliver to patients a hotel-like experience with high-level care. The Baptist Orthopedic Hospital will house an 18-bed pre-operation unit, a 15-bed post-anesthesia care unit; 10 operation and recovery rooms and a 30-bed inpatient unit. The pioneering hospital will provide patient services and care that address the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system, including:
- Hand therapy and physical therapy
- Joint replacement and arthritis
- Sports medicine injuries
- Arthroscopic surgery
- Spine treatment
- Industrial rehabilitation
- Worker’s comp
- Digital imaging
- Outpatient surgery
