WILMINGTON, Del.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Incyte Corporation (Nasdaq: INCY) announced today that it has been named one of the global biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry’s top employers by Science magazine, ranking second on the list of only 20 companies recognized in the publicationâs annual Top Employerâs Survey.

The Science and Science Careersâ 2018 annual Top Employers Survey polled employees in biotechnology, pharmaceutical and related industries to determine the 20 best employers in these industries as well as their driving characteristics. Respondents were asked to evaluate companies based on 23 different characteristics, including financial strength, easy adaptation to change and a research-driven environment. Incyte was specifically recognized by its team members for its innovation, work culture and respect for employees.

According to Science, the 2018 rankings were based on a total sample of more than 8,000 respondents from North America (63 percent), Europe (24 percent) and Asia/Pacific Rim (9 percent).
