Hilliard Lyons Strengthens Leadership Team, Names First Chief Investment Officer
LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Hilliard Lyons, Kentucky’s largest regional wealth management firm, announced additions to its leadership team, expansion of other roles, and the creation of a Chief Investment Officer position.
Four additions to the Executive Team include the promotions of:
- Former Evansville Complex Manager Alan Newman to Executive Vice President and Director of Private Client Group;
- Bary Dedge to Executive Vice President and Director of Information Technology, Operations, and Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO);
- Joe Cutsinger to Executive Vice President and Director of Budget and Financial Analytics; and
- Senior Vice President Nick Papachristou to Chief Marketing Officer.
In addition, Senior Vice President Mark Nickel has become the 163-year-old firm’s first Chief Investment Officer, responsible for coordinating the firm’s overall investment strategy.

In addition to the promotions that added Executive Team members, other Hilliard Lyons executives are filling new roles: Executive Vice President Gary England has been named to the new position of Chief Legal Officer; Senior Vice President Curtis McCubbin has been promoted to General Counsel; and Andy Dytrych will join Bary Dedge’s team as Vice President and Director of EPMO.
