Global telecommunications company expands its use of IFS Applications

IFS technology to power work order and asset management in smart metering project

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- IFS (http://www.ifsworld.com/), the global enterprise applications company, announces that a global company in the telecommunications sector has chosen to extend its investment in IFS Applications™ (http://media.ne.cision.com/l/dotutlbq/www.ifsworld.com/en/solutions/ifs-applications/). The agreement includes licenses and services valued at approximately SKr 12.5 million.

IFS Applications will be the central engine for handling cases and assigning work orders to field service staff based on data generated automatically by a network of smart meters.

Part of the IFS Enterprise Service Management solution, IFS Work Order Management covers the complete workflow of cases, work orders, logging status changes and updates from receiving and creating new orders to concluding the job and reporting time, material and expenses.
