Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach Closes Equity Investment
LONG BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Farmers & Merchants Bank of Long Beach (“F&M” or the “Bank”) (OTCQX: FMBL) today announced the Bank has closed on a $200 million equity investment in the Bank by a large financial services company (the “Investor”). As part of the transaction, the Investor purchased 16,261 shares of non-voting Series A Preferred Stock that will be the economic equivalent of the Bank’s common stock.
Piper Sandler & Co. served as financial advisor and Paul Hastings LLP served as legal advisor to F&M.
