Data Industry Veteran, Alex Watson, joins Cisive as Chief Operating Officer

Cisive, a global provider of compliance-driven human capital management and risk management solutions, announced Alex Watson as its Chief Operating Officer. Cisive is a portfolio company of GTCR, a leading private equity firm, which acquired the business in December 2021.

Alex Watson is an experienced operations executive with more than 20 years in senior leadership roles, most recently within the RELX information and analytics businesses. His most recent role was at LexisNexis Legal & Professional, where he served as Chief Operating Officer, including responsibility for data operations, customer services, customer experience and the RELX global share services center. Prior to his COO role, Watson has been Executive Vice President Global Operations for LexisNexis after previously leading global editorial operations for the Elsevier Science & Health division of RELX. Watson's early career was in software and data services startups in the UK. He holds a master's degree in English Language & Literature from the University of Edinburgh.
