Symbility’s Video Connect™ technology to expedite claims resolutions

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cunningham Lindsey, a leading global loss adjusting and risk management services company, announced today the incorporation of Symbility’s Video Connect™ technology into its loss adjusting services.

Cunningham Lindsey’s partnership with Symbility will provide their clients with new capabilities to expedite claims processing from any location. Symbility’s Video Connect™ technology facilitates a remote inspection of a damaged property using the camera on a policyholder’s smartphone or tablet. Using the video and audio controls in the program, adjusters direct the policyholders to gather the necessary data required for damage evaluations and value estimations. Empowering policyholders with this type of self-service technology also provides a platform for immediate collaboration between adjuster and the insurer to determine if additional services are needed at the loss location. The result is a simple, interactive process among all stakeholders that provides an accurate claims settlement using self-service video technology at the hands of the policyholder.

“We are pleased to partner with Symbility to accelerate the claim process for our clients,” said David Repinski, President and Chief Client Officer of Cunningham Lindsey, Americas. “We live in a world of instant information and a need for rapid turnaround. By enabling immediate, self-service data gathering by policyholders and secure delivery from virtually any location, we provide our clients a seamless claims solution that our competitors can’t easily match. Symbility’s Video Connect™ technology allows us to be in a stronger position to meet the evolving needs of the industry, boost client satisfaction with faster deliverables, and help our clients be a leading choice among policyholders.”

“Symbility is honored to have been chosen by Cunningham Lindsey as their technology partner to build out their new interactive strategy servicing their global insurance companies,” commented James Swayze, CEO of Symbility Solutions. “We respect Cunningham Lindsey’s commitment to innovation and becoming the first independent adjusting firm in the world to implement Symbility Video Connect™ and in doing so creating a differentiated product offering using self-service technology that makes their claims experience simple, engaging and efficient.”
